Oppo BDP-831 Blu-ray Player doch nicht in Europa
Bereits vor gut einem Jahr hatte Oppo die ersten Details zu seinem Blu-ray Player, dem Oppo BDP-831, bekannt gegeben. Damals hatte man auch bereits ein Release des Blu-ray Players in Europa anvisiert. Dann wurde vor ein paar Wochen auch bekannt gegeben, dass die Auslieferung in Europa bald beginnen kann. Aber dazu wird es dann wohl erst einmal nicht kommen.
Oppo BDP-831 Blu-ray Disc Player
Denn Oppo hat vor ein paar Tagen einen Rückzieher gemacht und bekannt gegeben, dass ein Release des Blu-ray Players in Europa auf unbestimmte Zeit verschoben werde. Als Gründe gab man dazu die fehlende Infrastruktur und Support an. Hier der Original-Text, den Kunden ab sofort auf der Vertriebswebseite von Oppo in Europa zu sehen bekommen:
“After careful evaluation of the resources available, it has been determined that the release of the OPPO BDP-831 Blu-ray Disc player in Europe will be postponed indefinitely. It is with sincere regret that we have to make this difficult decision. However, we feel that this is in the best interest of our customers and quality standards.
Customer support and satisfaction are the cornerstones of OPPO, and with the currently available resources, unfortunately we will not be able to equally serve all our European customers with the release of the BDP-831. Language barriers, shipping constraints, and our ability to quickly, efficiently, and accurately support our valuable European customers undermine the quality standards expected of OPPO.
We apologize to the customers who love and support OPPO all along and have been waiting for the release of BDP-831 patiently, and hope we can come back with better planning and resources in the future to serve our customers the best.”
Der Blu-ray Player wird in dem US für rund 500 US-Dollar angeboten und ist auch mit einem Multivoltnetzteil ausgestattet, doch leider ist auch von dort keine Lieferung nach Deutschland vorgesehen. So bleibt den Fans im Moment nichts übrig, als weiter auf ein europäisches Releases des BDP-831 zu hoffen.
